CEO and co-founder
Kendal Merrick
Kendal is a United States Air Force veteran with a strong background in data analytics and software development. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Data Analytics from the University of Maryland University College. Following his retirement from the military, Kendal chose to leverage his technical expertise to enhance healthcare delivery. In 2025, he co-founded Antunes-Merrick Medical with the goal of expanding access to primary care through telemedicine.
Family Medicine physician and Co-founder
Leticia Alves Antunes, MD, MBA, FAAFP
Dr. Antunes is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who specializes in managing acute and chronic conditions, menopause, mental health, and women’s health. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine (AAFP). She offers care in the following languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese. She is able to treat symptoms of Hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Depression, Anxiety, Menopause, Reproductive Health as well as acute conditions, including upper respiratory infections and urinary tract infections. She is also interested in community health, disease prevention, and health screenings counseling.
